GrimHaven RPG reaches Spectrum 128K in a paid development build

Johnny Blanchard and Chris Garrett send a fixed party into a troubled town, with no on-screen map.

Tonsomo Entertainment has made Legends of Netharia: GrimHaven available for the ZX Spectrum 128K. The fantasy role-playing game arrived on 5th November as a paid development build, priced from US$1.

A search for the wizard Reynold takes the party through a town struck by disaster. The group fights towards his last known location. The current build uses a fixed party and a narrative log, without an on-screen map.

Johnny Blanchard handles game design and development, with graphic design by Chris Garrett. The creator warns of possible remaining bugs.

The available downloads include a 60kB tape file and a 190kB disk file for Spectrum 128K, alongside cassette inlay and label artwork.

Tonsomo plans a 48K version with fewer graphics and an expanded +3 disk edition containing material cut from the current build. Party customisation is also planned, with no release dates supplied.

The GrimHaven project page provides the downloads and development details.
