L’Antre du Démon targets Amiga AGA with an illustrated RPG remake

A French magazine RPG from the Apple II era gains a new adaptation built with AmiBlitz 3.

Hwarf is developing L’Antre du Démon AGA Edition for Amiga. The project’s itch.io page appeared on 6th November 2026, with a ZIP download available. It adapts the French RPG published as an Apple II BASIC listing in Science & Vie Micro in 1984.

Hwarf reports implementing the village, character creation, dungeon, combat, magic and main interactions, with initial testing in WinUAE. Full-game validation and graphical finishing work remain underway.

The design includes a 100-room labyrinth, turn-based battles, weapon wear and four spells. A merchant and temple support character progression between dungeon visits, while a map records explored rooms.

Hwarf describes an illustrated interface and six four-channel ProTracker tracks. The adaptation uses AmiBlitz 3 and targets AGA Amigas with a 68020 or faster processor. Final memory requirements await validation.

The ZIP contains an AmiBlitz project and SHP graphics. Project details and the download are on Hwarf’s L’Antre du Démon page.
